Our Simply Sell Guarantee is designed to protect sellers from arbitrations related to issues with the interior and exterior of vehicles that OPENLANEⓇ captures and sells in our 45-minute auction sale and on Simulcast using our “Send to Simulcast” feature. By not having to focus on dealing with arbitration cases, you can spend more time retailing and supporting your customers.
What is covered by the Simply Sell Guarantee?
What is fully covered: Various vehicle issues, like certain types of non-disclosed exterior damage, missing/damaged keys and remotes, odour, odometer entry error, steering rack/ball and interior damage, headlights, paint and bodywork, mismatched tires, windshield and other glass damage, and model and trim.
Items that have coverage capped at $3,000: Anti-lock braking systems, Advanced Driver Systems, airbags, air conditioning, convenience and electrical features, certain types of engine damage, powered accessory motors (for example, sunroof) and tech screens.

With the Simply Sell Guarantee, dealers can focus on retailing and their customers’ needs, and spend less time and resources on arbitration cases. The program also offers coverage on AS-IS vehicles, and each vehicle will undergo an inspection by an experienced inspector. How much does it cost?
The cost of the Simply Sell Guarantee is based on your subscription level. Basic coverage costs $79 per vehicle sold for pro dealers and $89 per vehicle sold for standard dealers.
Is there anything not protected by the Simply Sell Guarantee?
The Simply Sell Guarantee doesn’t protect certain types of vehicles, including:
- Vehicles sold for more than $75,000.
- Vehicles with a rebuilt or salvaged title.
- Exotic vehicles.
- Vehicles driven more than 25 kilometers after the sale.
- Sales completed more than 30 days after the inspection.
