At OPENLANE, we know sourcing vehicles for your customers can take time, and sifting through hundreds of options daily to find their dream car can feel exhausting and overwhelming. The same can be said for when you want to fulfill your own inventory goals.
That’s why we’ve created filters and search features that put you in control and give you back some time. With these tools, you can quickly pinpoint vehicles that align with both you and your customers specific budgets and qualification needs, leading to more confident buying decisions in a fraction of the time.
OPENLANE Search Capabilities
Our easy-to-use marketplace provides you with broad filters like make, model, year, and odometer. You can mix and match filter options along with our sorting options, including: newest year, seller name, and mileage high or low.
Our saved search feature allows you to save your favourite searches, letting you come back and pick up right where you left off. You can do this by selecting your preferred filters and hitting “Save Filter” at the bottom.
From here, you can give your “search” a name, and choose if you want notifications when cars matching these search preferences become available. For example, does one of your walk-in leads want an Audi 100 Series with less than 50k kilometers? You can easily save that filter under their name. All these filters and saved searches can also be applied across all our sale types.
Maximizing Your Search with Advanced Filters
While it’s important to start your search broad, our advanced filters take it a step further, letting you define your search as narrowly as you wish, with a variety of options, including:
Place of Manufacture: Filter which countries your vehicle was manufactured in.
Seller Name: Search for multiple sellers by their exact name.
Condition: Allows you to filter out vehicles with known accidents.
Fuel Type: Filter whether you’re looking for Diesel, Hybrid, or etc.
Floor Met: Allows buyers to find vehicles that are guaranteed to go to closing.
Whether you are looking for a certain seller, price point, or location — our filters are here to do the work so you don’t have to.
Channel Specific Filters
We also offer filters that are unique to our different sales channels: Simulcast, 45-minute auction and DealerBlock. Please note these filters cannot be applied across the different sales types.
Simulcast has a “Lane’ filter where you can decide which specific auction lane you would like to view. The Speciality vehicles filter allows you to filter specifically for specialty vehicles including ATVs, forklifts, motorcycles, etc.
Our 45-minute auction has a “Franchise/ Independent” filter, letting you choose if you’d like to buy from an independent or franchise dealer.
